No Rally?

So was there no rally to “Rock the Vote” today, as the Red and Black reported? I was in Tate at noon, and there was only this lowly SOS sign:

    There was also a huge ad placed in the paper for the event. Probably cost a good bit of OUR money, for an event that evidently didn’t happen. I wonder how much they paid Allison Weiss, too. Thanks for everything, Jamarl!

    For the record, I performed as part of the Rock The Vote from 1pm-2pm and it was awesome.

    And would you also state for the record if you were paid for being webmaster to the Campaign SOS party, or if you were paid to perform at the rally? For the record, of course.

    I charged SGA nothing more than the $10.00 it cost to set up their domain name. I often do charity work simply because the publicity is worth the amount of time I have to put in.

    I was also not paid to perform at the rally. As an up and coming act in Athens, I’ll play any show I’m asked to. Once again, publicity.
